Countywide Oversight Board Appointments and Successor Agency Training

I am pleased to announce the appointments to the Countywide Oversight Board have been finalized. The board members will have a fiduciary responsibility to holders of enforceable obligations and taxing entities that benefit from property tax distributions, and will continue to have a critical role in the RDA dissolution process until all of the twenty-six RDA Successor Agencies in San Bernardino County are formally dissolved. As we approach the July 1, 2018, effective date of the Countywide Oversight Board I would like to announce that the County Community Development and Housing Agency will be hosting a Successor Agency training on June 6, 2018. The primary purpose of the training will be to provide agencies with information on the new process and procedures for submitting agenda items to the Countywide Oversight Board. The training announcement and registration information will be emailed to the designated contacts of each RDA Successor Agency by the end of the week. Please make every effort to send a representative for your agency.
