Each day approximately 38,000 vehicles travel on Haven Avenue and up to 40 trains, including Metrolink and freight trains, cross Haven Avenue. This project provided for the completion of six traffic lanes (three in each direction) on Haven Avenue, two bicycle lanes, pedestrian sidewalks, full landscaping of the side slopes, and replacement of the landscaped median islands under a new railroad two-track bridge.

Base Line/I-15 Interchange Project
Completed in 2017, Base Line/I-15 Interchange Project was a partnership with the City of Rancho Cucamonga, Caltrans, the City of Fontana, and the San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG). The much needed improvements to the Interstate 15 (I-15)/Base Line Road Interchange help alleviate congestion, improve safety, and improve mobility throughout the project corridor. The project expanded and reconfigured the I-15 at Base Line Road Interchange and the intersection of Base Line Road and East Avenue in order to improve safety and relieve traffic congestion. The project widened Base Line Road and East Avenue, reconfigured the I-15 north and south bound on- and off-ramps, and provided water efficient landscaping in the interchange area.
